Recurring

I was the director, writer, and editor of this short film project. Recurring is a short film about Bev, a young girl who can't seem to escape her recurring nightmare that always leaves her scared and confused. This project was a film I made as a part of a class I took at Ryerson. Frances Booth was the assistant director, Serafina Fraracci was the lighting director, Jacob Krywetzky was the director of photography, and Sabrina Wong was the sound recordist.

Process

Since I was the director, writer, and editor of this film I was very involved in every step of the process. As a requirement for the class, we had to make a full deck for the film, which included all pre-production paperwork. This included: storyboards, shot lists, the script, and more! Results

I had so much fun making this film! The whole project was a complete success and even brought some success through awards won in class. For this project I was voted the best director in my class, the project was also voted second-best overall film and best editing. You can check out the film below:
