I was the director, writer, and editor of this short film project. Recurring is a short film about Bev, a young girl who can't seem to escape her recurring nightmare that always leaves her scared and confused. This project was a film I made as a part of a class I took at Ryerson. Frances Booth was the assistant director, Serafina Fraracci was the lighting director, Jacob Krywetzky was the director of photography, and Sabrina Wong was the sound recordist.
Since I was the director, writer, and editor of this film I was very involved in every step of the process. As a requirement for the class, we had to make a full deck for the film, which included all pre-production paperwork. This included: storyboards, shot lists, the script, and more! I had so much fun making this film! The whole project was a complete success and even brought some success through awards won in class. For this project I was voted the best director in my class, the project was also voted second-best overall film and best editing. You can check out the film below:
