Funny Business

Funny Business is a short documentary I made as the director of photography. This film follows Jordanne Brown - a local Toronto stand-up comedian in her journey as a female in the comedy industry - and trying to survive in the craziness that is Toronto. Kathleen Burgess was the director for this project, Graham Beer was the producer, and Maria Barr was the video editor.

Process

This documentary was made in a very short period of time since it was for a class, which involved a lot of multitasking and exceptional planning skills. Check out some of the hard work that went into this project below:

Results

This documentary was a complete success both in the classroom and beyond! You can check out a link to watch it below. Like Drifting Funny Business also got into the “Lift-Off Global Network” film festival and was a finalist in its category of short documentaries. Not only that but Funny Business was also featured in the “Indie TO Film Festival”
